2008 Volunteer Training at Rocky Springs

Saturday, March 29th, 2008, at 10:00am, is one of the very important events of the year at Rocky Springs Wildlife Rehabilitation Center – volunteer training. Would you like to be a part of the life-saving efforts of RSWRC? Those interested must contact us via e-mail or call (908-835-9991) by March 24th for details and to confirm.

RSWRC is an all volunteer organization – without volunteers, the hundreds of wildlife patients we care for each year would have no one to turn to.
Our volunteers are priceless! They make a difference in and save the lives of our wildlife.

Volunteer

1 - 'to offer (one’s services or oneself) for some special purpose of enterprise.’

- World Book Encyclopedia

People volunteer for many reasons. Here are some reasons our volunteers have shared:

- To make a difference
- To have a sense of purpose
- To give back
- To feel good

`We give comfort and receive comfort, sometimes at the same time.’

We offer volunteer training every spring (late March, early April). Please contact us to discuss volunteer opportunities.
