Rocky Springs Wildlife Rehabilitation Center, Inc. was founded in February, 2000 and is dedicated to the care of injured and orphaned wildlife. Our mission is to return these animals to their environment as fully functioning wild animals and to provide education to the public about wildlife and their importance in the balance of nature.

We are incorporated as a 501c3 non profit charitable organization. We are supported by public donations. We receive no local, state or federal funding.

Rocky Springs was founded and directed by Donna Fox, RN a New Jersey state and federally licensed wildlife rehabilitator. We presently care for: raccoons, skunks, opossums, squirrels (red, gray and flying), chipmunks, rabbits, bats, woodchucks, fox, deer (fawns only, no adults), coyote, reptiles (snakes, turtles), raptors, song birds, waterfowl and wading birds.

We provide caging appropriate to the needs of the injured and/or orphaned animals during their stay. Under the direction of our veterinarian, we treat illness and injury, administer medications and treatments. We provide diets appropriate for the developmental stages of each species.

In order to preserve the “wild nature” of our patients, exposure to humans is kept to a minimum, therefore, we are not open to the public.
